Johnnie Walker Black Label is a 12-year-old blended Scotch whisky, bottled at 40% ABV in a 750ml bottle. It combines malt and grain whiskies from Highland, Speyside, Lowland and island distilleries, with peated malts from Lagavulin and Talisker at its core. Every component is matured for at least 12 years in oak, including ex-bourbon barrels.
The nose brings smoke, peat, vanilla and dried fruit, with honey and citrus peel. The palate is smooth and creamy, with dark chocolate, roasted nuts, raisin and fig, and a little pepper. The finish is moderate, with campfire smoke, honey and caramel.
