Johnnie Walker Black Label 12 Year Old in the São Paulo edition of the Air Ink limited-edition bottles, a blend of malt and grain Scotch whiskies. The edition is part of a collection celebrating 11 cities worldwide.
The collaboration with AIR-INK, which turns industrial air pollution into usable ink, gives each bottle artwork by the Brazilian artist Nunca, honouring the culture and life of São Paulo.
The nose combines charred oak, peat smoke and sweet toffee, with hints of overripe grapes and pecan rolls. The palate offers vanilla, butterscotch and more peat smoke, balanced by glazed pecans. The finish is smoky, with lingering sweetness and nutty notes.
