Johnnie Walker Black Label is a blended Scotch whisky from John Walker & Sons, bottled at 40% ABV in a 750ml bottle. Every whisky in the blend is at least 12 years old.
The blend draws on malts from across Scotland: Highland malts for richness, Speyside for sweetness, coastal malts for depth and Islay malts for the house smokiness.
The nose combines sweet fruit, vanilla, creamy toffee and a subtle smokiness. On the palate it is smooth and balanced, with dark fruit, vanilla, caramel and warm spice building towards smoke. The finish is long, with smoky sweetness lingering.
