Johnnie Walker Black Label Extra Special is a blended Scotch whisky from the 1970s, bottled in Scotland by John Walker & Sons. It comes in a 1140ml bottle marked 40 ounces.
The nose is rich and woody, with dried fruit, prunes and figs, alongside beeswax, tobacco, leather and a faint, old mineral smoke. The palate is soft and full-bodied, with intense malt sweetness, toffee and vanilla set against sherry, winter spices, nuts and earthy smoke. The finish is long and lingering, with gentle smoke, spice and a touch of caramel or toasted malt.
