This is a 1990s one litre bottling of Johnnie Walker Blue Label, a blended Scotch whisky at 43% ABV. It dates from the early years of Blue Label, which followed the move on from Johnnie Walker Oldest. The whisky was made to recall the style of the finest nineteenth-century Johnnie Walker blends, using malt and grain whiskies from long-aged stock, including casks laid down in the 1960s and 1970s. It comes in the classic deep-blue presentation box, and each bottle is individually numbered. It is described as rich and weighty, with honey, dried fruits, polished oak, dark chocolate, orange peel and well-integrated peat smoke.
