Johnnie Walker Blue Label Elusive Umami is a limited-edition blended Scotch at 43% ABV, in a 70cl bottle. It was created by master blender Emma Walker together with the Japanese chef Kei Kobayashi. The idea comes from umami, the Japanese word for the so-called fifth taste, a savoury flavour. Only one cask in 25,000 is chosen for this blend, which aims to balance sweet and savoury flavours.
