This is the second release in the Johnnie Walker Blue Label Ghost and Rare series, a limited blend built around the lost distilleries of Scotland. Here the focus falls on malt whisky from Port Ellen. The grain whisky comes from two other closed distilleries, Carsebridge and Caledonian. The master blender chose these malts and grains from a library of casks kept exclusively for Johnnie Walker Blue Label, picking full-bodied examples to show the richness of the brand's top blend in a new way.
