Johnnie Walker Blue Label 'Ghost and Rare' Brora is a limited-edition blended Scotch whisky, bottled at 46% ABV. It draws on rare whiskies from silent distilleries, with Brora at its heart alongside Pittyvaich and Cambus. Malts and grains from Clynelish, Royal Lochnagar, Glenkinchie, Glenlossie and Cameronbridge make up the rest. The nose is dusty and mineral, with hazelnut, yellow apple, orange, peach and roasted pineapple over cedar and a waxy sweetness. The palate opens sweet with sugared almonds, apple and honey, then turns malty and nutty, with mint, heather, a little tobacco, chocolate and delicate smoke. The finish is light and woody, with crème brûlée and roasted nuts.
