Johnnie Walker Blue Label Ghost and Rare Glenury Royal (70cl)

A limited edition blended Scotch whisky from Johnnie Walker, in a 700ml bottle. It is built around Glenury Royal, a Highland single malt from a distillery that closed in 1985. The blend also draws on whiskies from the lost distilleries Cambus and Pittyvaich, together with rare stocks from Glen Elgin, Inchgower, Glenlossie, Cameronbridge and Glenkinchie. It is described as smooth and nutty, with dark chocolate, vanilla, heather honey and dried fruits, and underlying creamy toffee and butterscotch. Sweet apple and delicate apricot from the Glenury Royal run through it.
