Johnnie Walker Blue Label Ghost and Rare Port Dundas (70cl, 43.8%)

This is a limited-edition Johnnie Walker blend, the fifth in the Ghost and Rare series, built around Port Dundas. Master blender Emma Walker chose eight whiskies from across Scotland: three from ghost distilleries and five from Blue Label reserves, including long-matured whiskies selected to give the blend depth. Port Dundas was a Glasgow distillery built in 1811 and closed in 2010. Whisky from Cambus and Brora completes the ghost trio. Creamy wood notes from Port Dundas sit around vanilla and soft smoke. Cameronbridge and Glenkinchie add baked apple, while Clynelish, Dailuaine and Auchroisk bring delicate peach and berry.
