Johnnie Walker Blue Label Ghost and Rare Port Ellen (75cl, 43.8%)

This is the second edition of Johnnie Walker Blue Label Ghost and Rare, a blended Scotch whisky bottled at 43.8% abv. Each bottle is individually numbered. Master Blender Dr Jim Beveridge chose eight whiskies, with Port Ellen at the heart of the blend. Two other closed distilleries, Caledonian and Carsebridge, are included, along with malt from Blair Athol, Oban, Mortlach, Cragganmore and Dailuaine. The nose is sweet, with creamy vanilla, and the palate brings waves of waxy citrus.
