Johnnie Walker Blue Label Lunar New Year - Year of the Goat 2027

This is a limited edition of Johnnie Walker Blue Label, a blended Scotch whisky made under Master Blender Emma Walker to mark the Lunar New Year 2027, the Year of the Goat. The blend draws on rare stocks including Port Ellen and Brora, together with mature Speyside and Highland malts. It comes in an elongated blue-tinted glass decanter with four-panel artwork showing a goat leaping across celestial clouds beside blooming peonies. The nose is of dried apricots, honeyed malt and candied orange peel, with hazelnuts, dark chocolate and a little peat smoke. The palate is silky, with kumquat, vanilla and poached pear, then raisins, baking spices and charred oak. The finish is long, with dried fruit, cocoa, sea salt and a trace of peat smoke.
