Johnnie Walker Blue Label (75cl, 40%)

Johnnie Walker Blue Label is a blended Scotch whisky bottled at 40% in a 750ml bottle, with each bottle individually numbered. It combines rare grain whiskies with malts from Speyside and the Highlands, including Cardhu, Clynelish and Benrinnes, and Islay malts for smokiness. Some of the whiskies in the blend come from distilleries that have since closed. The style takes its inspiration from Alexander Walker's 1867 Old Highland Whisky. The nose balances dry smoke with raisins, vanilla and dried fruit. On the palate, rich spice gives way to vanilla, honey, caramel, hazelnut and dark chocolate, and the long finish carries smoke, orange zest, allspice, clove and a saline note.
