This is a limited-edition Johnnie Walker Blue Label blended Scotch, released for 2020 to mark the Chinese New Year of the Rat. The bottle carries artwork by the artist Shirley Gong, with imagery chosen to suggest prosperity and good fortune. The nose is mellow and rounded, with dry smoke set against the sweetness of raisins. On the palate come layers of dried fruit and citrus smoke, moving towards honey, sweet spice and vanilla. The finish is velvety with chocolate and a rounded smokiness.
