Johnnie Walker Blue Label Year of the Rat Limited Edition (75cl, 40%)

Johnnie Walker Blue Label Year of the Rat is a limited edition blended Scotch whisky released in January 2020 for the Chinese Lunar New Year, in a 750ml bottle at 40%. It is part of the Chinese Zodiac Collection, and each bottle is individually numbered. Master Blender Jim Beveridge selected the single malt and grain whiskies from across Scotland. The bottle and box carry artwork by Shirley Gong, with traditional Chinese motifs in teal and gold on the navy of Blue Label. The nose opens with sweet vanilla and honey, then ripe peaches, dried fruit and a touch of citrus, with soft smoke, light tobacco and floral notes behind. The palate is silky smooth.
