Johnnie Walker Blue Label Year of the Rooster is a limited edition blended Scotch whisky from the Zodiac Collection, released to mark the Chinese Lunar New Year of 2017. It is bottled at 40% ABV.
The two-tone blue bottle carries gold artwork of a rooster and lets the golden colour of the whisky show through.
The nose is rich and smoky, balanced by floral and spicy notes. The palate brings layers of chocolate, sherry and vanilla, with deep fruit and honeyed sweetness. The finish is smooth and lingering, with a refined peaty smokiness.
