Johnnie Walker Blue Label Year of the Snake is a blended Scotch whisky bottled at 46% in a 750ml bottle to mark Lunar New Year. The liquid is the usual Blue Label blend, drawn from rare casks that include stock from the closed distilleries Brora, Cambus and Port Dundas. The packaging carries original artwork by the artist James Jean.
Honey and vanilla lead the nose, with dried stone fruit, gentle peat smoke, sandalwood and rose petal. The palate is velvety, with dark toffee, dark chocolate, hazelnut and orange peel, and the smoke builds towards a long, silky finish of dried fruit and warming spice.
