Johnnie Walker Double Black (40%)

Johnnie Walker Double Black is a blended Scotch whisky bottled at 40% ABV. It brings together more than thirty malt and grain whiskies from across Scotland, with a larger share of west coast malts chosen for their smoky character. Some of the whisky is matured in heavily charred casks, which adds depth and spice to the blend. On the nose there is soft smoke, clove and dried fruit, with vanilla and toasted wood. Peat comes through on the palate, alongside candied orange, caramel and ripe fruit. The finish is long, with embers, pepper and lightly toasted oak.
