Johnnie Walker Double Black is a blended Scotch whisky in a 750ml bottle. It was developed from Johnnie Walker Black Label and is described as full-bodied, with an intense smoky character and layers of spice.
The style draws on powerful West Coast and Island whiskies, and spice from oak-aged casks adds to the smokiness.
The nose is sweet smoke and cloves. The palate is peaty, with raisins, fresh apples, orange and creamy vanilla, followed by a long, warming finish.
