Johnnie Walker Gold Label Reserve is a blended Scotch whisky put together by master blender Jim Beveridge from his favourite whiskies. Among them are casks of Clynelish, a distillery whose water comes from the Kildonan hills, where gold was found in 1868.
The nose is delicate, with nectar and a little smoke. The palate is deep and velvety, with sweet fruit and a creamy softness, and the finish is long and subtle, leaving light smoke and wood.
