Johnnie Walker Gold Label Reserve is a blended Scotch whisky without an age statement, bottled at 40% ABV.
The blend is built around malt whisky from Clynelish Distillery, with selected grain and other malt whiskies. It is matured in bourbon-type and sherry-type casks and then married before bottling.
The nose opens with honey, sweet cream, vanilla and soft caramel, with a tropical fruit note, a faint wisp of smoke and delicate oak. The palate is smooth and richly textured, with honey-cream sweetness, vanilla custard, toffee and fruit. The finish is soft and lingering, fading into mild smoke and oak.
