Gold Label Reserve is a blended Scotch whisky from Johnnie Walker, in a 70cl bottle. It combines whiskies from Speyside and the Highlands with a small addition of distillates from the west coast.
The whisky is deep gold with amber reflections. A gentle smokiness runs through it and now and then interrupts a deep, dominant sweetness.
The nose offers heather honey, caramel, nutmeg, dried meadow flowers and fresh banana. The palate is soft and succulent, sweet, with vanilla and spice. The finish is long and delicate, closing on caramel.
