This is a blended Scotch from Johnnie Walker, bottled at 45% in a 75cl bottle. It joins key Johnnie Walker Black Label flavours with rye whisky.
The blend uses a mash bill of 60% rye, aged in American oak barrels, together with single malts from distilleries including Cardhu, which contributes to the Black Label character.
It is described as balancing sweet vanilla with the spiciness of rye, and a little warm smoke comes through gently.
Tasting Notes
sweet vanilla, spicy rye, subtle warm smoke
