John Walker & Sons XR 21 Year Old is a blended Scotch whisky in which every component has been aged for at least 21 years. It is bottled at 40% abv in a 750ml art deco-style decanter, a design that commemorates the knighthood Sir Alexander Walker received from King George V in 1920.
Tasting notes describe sweet honey and tempered spice beneath warming smoke, with citrus zest, ripe tropical fruit, caramel, tobacco and raisins. The finish is long and smooth, with a subtle peatiness.
