Jon Rye Wanted Blended Whisky (70cl, 40%)

Jon Rye Wanted is a blended whisky from Slovakia, bottled at 40% in a 70cl bottle. It is made from continental rye grown in Slovakia and distilled twice in copper stills, and it carries no age statement. The style is spicy and approachable, with a rye backbone alongside vanilla, peach and apricot. It can be taken neat or over ice. On the nose it offers vanilla, peach, buttery apricot and a light rye spice. The palate opens pleasantly sweet before turning to peppery rye with hints of citrus, and the finish is medium to long, fruity and spicy with a warm note.
