Jose Cuervo Especial is a Mexican reposado tequila bottled at 38% vol in a 70cl bottle, and it suits cocktails well.
It comes from Jose Cuervo, which has made tequila at La Rojeña, the oldest active distillery in Latin America. The house dates its history to 1795, when Jose María Guadalupe de Cuervo began selling his Vino Mezcal de Tequila after receiving the first official charter to produce tequila commercially.
Oak, vanilla and agave mark the flavour.
