José Cuervo Reserva de la Familia is an añejo tequila first produced in 1995 to mark the 200th anniversary of the company's founding. It is aged in oak barrels for an average of three years, and the final blend includes tequila from reserves aged over 30 years.
Only 10-year-old agaves are hand-selected, and only the most flavourful inner part of the piña is used. This 2020 release comes in a presentation box with artwork by Jorge Pardo.
The flavour is vibrant, full and mellow, combining floral and agave notes with vanilla and Cognac-like character.
