José Cuervo Reserva de la Familia Añejo (75cl, 40%)

José Cuervo Reserva de la Familia is an añejo tequila first made in 1995 to mark the 200th anniversary of the company. This edition was released in 2023 and comes in a presentation box with artwork by the Mexican artists Rolando Flores and Gabriel Cazares. It is aged in oak barrels for an average of three years, and the blend includes tequila from reserves older than 30 years. Only the inner heart of the agave, from the estate's 10-year-old plants, is used. Each bottle is handmade, numbered, dated and sealed in wax, and 17,000 are produced each year. The flavour is vibrant yet mellow, with floral, agave, vanilla and Cognac-like notes.
