José Cuervo Reserva de la Familia Extra Añejo 2007 Collection (75cl, 38%)

This is the 2007 Collection release of José Cuervo Reserva de la Familia, an Extra Añejo tequila first produced in 1995 to mark the 200th anniversary of the company. Each bottle is handmade, numbered, dated and sealed in wax, and only 17,000 are produced each year. The tequila is aged in oak barrels for an average of 3 years, and the blend includes tequila from reserves aged over 30 years. Only the estate's 10-year-old agaves are used, taking just the inner part of the piña. This edition has box artwork by Pedro Friedman. The flavour is full and mellow, combining floral notes, agave, vanilla and Cognac-like character.
