José Cuervo Reserva de la Familia is an Extra Añejo tequila, originally created in 1995 to mark the family's 200th anniversary and described as the world's first Extra Añejo tequila.
It is a limited annual edition, with each year's wooden box designed by a different artist. The handcrafted bottle matures for over five years in selected bourbon oak barrels and is blended with spirits aged up to 30 years.
