Joseph Magnus Bourbon is a straight bourbon bottled by Joseph Magnus & Co. at 50% ABV, in a 750ml bottle. The base whiskey is sourced from Indiana and aged in white oak.
It is then finished in three further casks: Oloroso sherry, Pedro Ximénez sherry and Cognac. The work is directed by Master Blender Nancy Fraley.
The producer describes rich, deep notes of vanilla, citrus, dark chocolate, brown sugar and dark stone fruits, followed by a lingering, warm finish.
