This is a white wine from Joseph Phelps Vineyards, made from 100% estate-grown Sauvignon Blanc from the Home Ranch Vineyard in St. Helena, Napa Valley. It has an alcohol content of 13.5%. The winery was founded in 1973, and the wine is aged on its lees for an extended period, which adds a creamy texture.
The nose shows lime zest, white grapefruit, honeyed pear, wet limestone and delicate white blossom. On the palate, bright citrus acidity meets ripe stone fruit, with mineral salinity and tropical notes. The finish is medium to long, with persistent citrus, chalky minerality and a hint of herbs.
