Joshua Tree Distilling – Lost Horse Whiskey (75cl, 40%)

Lost Horse Whiskey is an American blended whiskey from Joshua Tree Distilling, bottled at 40% ABV in a 750ml bottle. It is a blend of different mash bills and ages drawn from American casks, made in Yucca Valley, California, at a distillery founded in 2020 by Paul Chakalian. The name comes from the Lost Horse gold mine in Joshua Tree National Park. The distillery makes its spirits without synthetic sugars, flavourings, preservatives or dyes. The nose is led by cereal, with body and structure. The palate is warm and sweet at first, then a delicate spice and a rich, nutty body with sorghum at its core. The finish is smooth and rounded.
