Jura - 10 Year Old is a single malt whisky from Isle of Jura (Islands). Aged 10 years, bottled at 40% ABV, 70cl. Finished in aged Oloroso Sherry Butts. Jura Distillery is situated in Craighouse on the Isle of Jura, a remote island off the west coast of Scotland. The distillery has been producing single malt Scotch whisky since the early nineteenth century and is today owned by Whyte & Mackay. It is one of the defining institutions of the island, which is home to a small community and a notably rugged landscape. This is the distillery's 10 Year Old expression, distilled, aged and bottled at Craighouse on the Isle of Jura. The whisky is matured in American white oak bourbon barrels before being finished in aged Oloroso sherry butts. Bottled at 40% ABV in a 70cl presentation with the distillery's distinctive copper canister.
