Jura 10 Year Old is a single malt Scotch whisky from the Isle of Jura, bottled at 40% in a 75cl bottle. The mash combines peated and unpeated barley.
It spends ten years in American white oak ex-bourbon barrels before a finishing period in Oloroso sherry casks. It won Gold at the 2024 International Spirits Challenge.
The nose is vanilla and orange peel with cracked black pepper and dark chocolate. The palate is rich and mellow, with toffee, nectarine, ginger and golden raisin, and a gentle smokiness underneath. The medium, warming finish has soft smoke, baking spices and a hint of marzipan.
