Jura 12 Year Old is a single malt Scotch whisky in a 70cl bottle. It matures in American oak casks that previously held bourbon, then spends a short time in ex-Oloroso sherry casks to complete its ageing.
The colour is a bright amber-yellow.
The nose brings wildflower honey, chocolate and raisins, alongside spice, tobacco and leather. The palate is energetic and full of character, yet soft and velvety. The finish is lingering and pleasantly balsamic.
