This is a 12 year old single malt from Jura, bottled at 44% in a 70cl bottle. It is matured mainly in Oloroso sherry casks, with the sherry oak adding depth alongside the island's peat character.
On the nose there are dried fruits, orange zest, toasted oak and gentle smoke. The palate is smooth and rounded, with ripe berries, caramel, dark chocolate and a subtle maritime saltiness. The finish is medium to long and warming, with lingering spices and a touch of sweetness.
