This is a 12 year old single malt from the Isle of Jura Distillery, on the island of Jura in Scotland's Inner Hebrides. It comes in a 70cl bottle.
The whisky is matured first in American white oak ex-bourbon barrels, then fully finished in Oloroso sherry casks from Jerez. It is not peated.
The nose is soft fruit, light oak and gentle sherry, with vanilla and mild spice. On the palate come dried fruit, hints of citrus and a touch of nuttiness. The finish is smooth and medium in length, with lingering oak and a trace of spice.
