This is a 15-year-old single malt from the island distillery of Jura, distilled in 2009 and bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle by independent bottler Curious Whiskies.
It was matured in both ex-bourbon and ex-sherry casks. The spirit is medium-peated, with a touch of sweetness alongside the smoke.
The nose has peach, apricot, orange peel, vanilla fudge and nuts. The palate brings stone fruits, honey, citrus, sea salt and oak, and the finish is warming, with walnuts, caramel and cinnamon.
