This is an eighteen-year-old single malt from Jura, bottled at 44% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It sits at the top of the distillery's core range, which was relaunched in mid-2018.
The whisky was aged in American white oak ex-bourbon barrels, then finished in Premier Grand Cru Classe Bordeaux barrels, which add a rich fruitiness.
The nose offers cinnamon, dried berries, wine gums and hickory. On the palate are brandied cherries, Turkish delight, milky coffee and blackcurrant jam, and the finish brings chocolate chip cookies, a touch of hay and orange oil.
