This is a 28 year old single malt from Jura, bottled at 47% ABV in a 70cl bottle. The distillery stands in Craighouse on the east side of the island, and its lightly peated whiskies have earned it the nickname 'The Highland from the Island'.
The whisky first matured in ex-bourbon American white oak casks. It was then finished in the same casks after they had held Amoroso sherry.
