Traditional Oak
This is a 30 year old single malt from Jura, distilled in 1992 and bottled by Wilson & Morgan at 47.5%. It comes in a 70cl bottle and was matured in Traditional Oak. The cask has not overwhelmed the spirit, and the richness of the malt sits in balance with the oak. The nose brings green apples, soft grape, baked cereal bars, lemon and lime fondant icing, banana bread and chewy toffee, with beeswax, a light coastal note, farmhouse bread and salted butter. The palate is fruity and herbal, with spiced apple, toasted waffles, jasmine tea, quince and ripe banana, and a tannic edge carries through the lingering finish.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
