Jura Paps is a 15 year old single malt from the Isle of Jura, bottled at 46% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It belongs to the Jura Paps Trilogy, and this edition was limited to 1,366 bottles.
The whisky was finished in Cabernet Sauvignon. The distillery stands on the island and was revived in the 1960s by local estate owners.
On the nose there are dark fruit and subtle oak. The palate is smooth, with vanilla and spice, leading to a lingering finish.
