Jura Seven Wood is a single malt Scotch bottled at 42% ABV. It is first matured in American white oak bourbon casks, then finished in six kinds of French oak from the forests of Limousin, Tronçais, Allier, Vosges, Jupilles and Les Bertranges.
The nose offers coffee, ginger spice and a hint of milk chocolate. On the palate come caramelised peach, soft liquorice and candied orange, with a subtle maritime note and a touch of smoke.
