Jura Seven Wood is a single malt from the Isle of Jura distillery, bottled at 42% vol. It is matured in seven types of oak: first-fill ex-bourbon American white oak, together with Vosges, Bertranges, Jupilles, Allier, Tronçais and Limousin barrels.
The colour is mahogany gold. The nose combines coffee, ginger spice and a hint of milk chocolate. On the palate there is caramelised peach, chewy liquorice and candied orange, with a hint of sea spray and smoke.
