The 20 year old was introduced in the 1960s by International Distillers & Vintners, formed in 1962 when the company joined W&A Gilbey. Justerini & Brooks itself goes back to 1831, when Alfred Brooks took over a wine merchant's business that had been based in Pall Mall since the mid-18th century.
