A 13 year old Speyside single malt from Knockando, distilled in 1974 and bottled in 1987. It is in a 75cl bottle at 43% ABV. Knockando is a late 19th century distillery. W & A Gilbey bought it in 1904, together with Strathmill and Glen Spey, as it expanded into whisky. When Gilbey's became part of IDV in the 1960s, Knockando became the home of the Justerini & Brooks blends, and it remains so under Diageo. It has long been regarded as a fine single malt in its own right, with official distillery bottlings dating back to the 1970s.
