A Mexican coffee liqueur, popular worldwide since the mid-1930s and used in cocktails such as the Mind Eraser and White Russian. It is made from selected coffee blends, pure alcohol, sugar and a touch of vanilla. Deep, bright mahogany in colour, it has marked espresso aromas with vanilla and butter, plus sweet caramel and chestnut notes. The palate is rich and warm, soft and slightly sweet, with a persistent roasted finish. Serve neat, cold or hot, or added to coffee or fresh milk.
