Kaiyō 10 Year Old 'The Unicorn' is a Japanese whisky finished in bourbon barrels, bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle.
It matures for ten years in Japanese Mizunara oak barrels, then moves to bourbon barrels for a final stage that takes place aboard a ship. That sea voyage is credited with adding a maritime influence.
It is typically described as showing vanilla, caramel and oak, with subtle fruit and spice.
