Kaiyō Cask Strength Japanese Mizunara Oak Whisky

Kaiyō Cask Strength is a Japanese whisky matured in Mizunara oak casks. The name means ocean. The casks are handmade because of the delicate grain of Mizunara oak. After its years of maturing, the whisky goes on a final maturation at sea, a voyage of up to three months that leaves from Osaka. It is described as very smooth and complex, with a balance of fruit and silky malt and a touch of dark chocolate.
